Whitehall Homes LLP was founded in 2008 by three partners with a shared vision. Starting as a local developer in East Grinstead and its environs, we have matured into a prominent regional developer. Our focus is on crafting bespoke residential communities, typically ranging from 20 to 50 homes across West Sussex, East Sussex, and Kent.
A testament to our strength and stability, all planning and acquisitions are self-funded.

Pierre Lederer, a seasoned professional and Sussex native, leads Whitehall Land (part of Whitehall Homes LLP) as its Managing Partner. His expertise, developed across significant roles in London and West Sussex, has been pivotal in guiding Whitehall Homes through a decade of steady growth and financial stability. Pierre’s leadership is marked by a strategic focus on land acquisition and efficient company management.
Outside of work, Pierre is an active participant in East Grinstead’s community life, supporting his sons’ involvement in local football, athletics, and yacht sailing clubs.
His blend of professional excellence and community commitment is central to Whitehall Homes’ success and local engagement.
The Land Team at Whitehall Land is more than a sum of its parts. Together, they form an integrated unit, adept at navigating the complexities of land acquisition and the planning process.

At the helm of our land team is the Land Director, a visionary leader with extensive experience in identifying and securing prime development sites. Their expertise in market analysis and strategic negotiation ensures Whitehall Land consistently acquires land with high development potential, essential for our sustained success.
Our Land Buyers are the dynamic force on the ground. Their keen eye for viable land opportunities and their ability to build strong relationships with landowners are vital in securing promising sites for development. Their proactive approach and market insights are crucial in keeping Whitehall Land ahead in a competitive market.
The Planning Director plays a pivotal role in navigating the complex planning landscape. With a deep understanding of local and regional planning policies, they lead the team in crafting comprehensive planning strategies that align with community needs and regulatory frameworks, driving our projects towards successful outcomes.
The Planning Manager is instrumental in managing the intricacies of the planning process. Their coordination of applications, liaising with local authorities, and ensuring compliance with planning regulations are key to smooth progression from land acquisition to project initiation.
Our Technical Coordinator bridges the gap between planning and execution. They work closely with architects and engineers to ensure that plans are not only compliant but also practically sound. Their role in translating planning concepts into actionable blueprints is fundamental in maintaining the quality and integrity of our projects.
